The synod is currently revamping its approach to planned giving. During this transition time anyone interested in the possibility of making a planned gift to the synod should contact Bishop Larry Wohlrabe.

Lutheran Campus Ministry (LCM)

Luther Seminary

Lutheran Advocacy-Minnesota

The Lutheran Advocacy-Minnesota, formerly the Lutheran Coalition for Public Policy in MN, addresses biblical values such as concern for people living in poverty and struggling with hunger and disease, hospitality to strangers, and care for creation.

Minnesota Council of Churches

Our state’s largest ecumenical organization representing 24 denominations and over one million Minnesotans, MCC fosters public worship/prayer events, sponsors caring and advocacy, and reaches out to refugees and interfaith partners.

Andhra Evangelical Lutheran Church (AELC) of India

We in the Northwestern Minnesota Synod are joining hands with our companion synod, the Andhra Evangelical Lutheran Church (AELC) in India. By walking hand in hand with our companion synod, we are practicing accompaniment – a way of seeing the world and engaging one another in global mission that places mutual relationship at its core.

Native American Christian Ministry

This program serves the Fargo-Moorhead Native American population with worship opportunities, pastoral services, and networking with various resources in the community.

Parish Nurse Program

Since 1991, the Parish Nurse Program of Concordia College, Moorhead, has prepared over 1,700 nurses to serve in faith communities across the country. Parish nurses are called and committed to the healing ministry of the church, helping meet the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of the members.

 Outreach Ministries

Living Grace Lutheran Church

Living Grace Lutheran Church is an ELCA ministry start. Their mission is “to listen and worship the word of God in the ELCA tradition.”

Peoples Church

Peoples Church is a multicultural congregation of the ELCA with a special emphasis on spiritual and physical outreach to people living in poverty in the Bemidji area. Radical hospitality and inclusion is definitely practiced here, where everyone is someone and Jesus is seen in the neighbor.

Waters of Grace

Waters of Grace is a community of faith and mission development ministry planted in the community of Frazee in 2010 as a result of statistical data revealing a large population of unchurched in this area that was without an ELCA presence.
