Conference Chaplains

Pr. Genelle Netland – Calvary Lutheran Church, Bemidji

Biography coming soon…

Pr. Andrew Ronnevik – Calvary Lutheran Church, Bemidji

Pastor Andrew Ronnevik is a son of the synod and has been at Calvary-Bemidji, his first call, for about seven years.  In the community, he’s been involved with Lutheran Campus Ministry, the homeless shelter, and youth mentoring.  Off the clock, he jogs, cross-country skis, and plays violin in the community orchestra.

Pr. Nate Bendorf – Calvary Lutheran Church, Bemidji

Pastor Nate Bendorf has been serving Calvary Lutheran in Bemidji for 3 years. Prior to his call at Calvary, he was the Director of Youth Ministries at Cokato Evangelical Lutheran Church for five years and a Trade Specialist at General Mills for two year prior to that. He enjoys the outdoors; hunting, fishing and exploring. He loves to travel, experience new cultures and hear the stories of others as they relate to God’s story and our story. He is celebrating ten years of marriage this fall to his wife Sarah and has six-year-old child named Izabella.

Pr. Karol Hendricks-McCracken – New Salem Lutheran Church, Turtle River

Pastor Karol McCracken is known among her parishioners and colleagues as a calm, graceful presence. She has served as a mission developer in a restart congregation for ten years being called twice because of a brief call to the synod office as Youth and Family Coordinator.  When contemplating additional education 25 years ago Karol’s inner calling was that of a spiritual director. But the church needed her gifts  for the ministries of Word and Sacrament. Karol is married and the mother of three adult children. Karol spends her restorative time weaving, sewing, knitting, and watching the wildlife in the woods outside the windows of her home. Someday she will, again, pursue the path of certified spiritual director.
