December 20, 2012 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Trinity Lutheran Church - Moorhead, MN
The holidays can be the most difficult time of the year. While everyone is bustling around to holiday parties and preparing great feasts, it can be painful reminders of all we have lost, all we do not have and who is no longer a part of our lives. We know, as the gospel of John proclaims, Christ is our light that shines in the darkness and the darkness will never overcome it. (John 1:5).
On December 20 ,2012 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM, we will be having a ‘Blue Christmas’ service in the chapel at Trinity Lutheran Church 210 7th St S. Moorhead, MN 56560. In the gathering darkness of December, the 21st of December being the longest night of the year, we will light candles of hope and live in the waiting that comes in the Advent season. It will be a quiet reflective service wrapped in prayer, music and silence.
If you would like, please bring a photo or token to represent a lost loved one. All are welcome.
