Congregational vitality is growing in transforming, life-giving relationships with God, with one another, in our congregations, and with our communities for the sake of God’s mission through the death and resurrection of Jesus for the sake of the world. This definition inspires and guides Practicing Resurrection Experiencing Vitality. The name given for a new synod ministry focused on encouraging and equipping for congregational vitality.
The first training event for this new ministry launched on Saturday, January 13th. Over 33 participants representing 11 congregations began to blaze this trail at the Practicing Resurrection: Experiencing Vitality workshop. The PPT presentations including video clips and handouts shared at the training event can be accessed by all interested by going to this Dropbox link
In the Dropbox you’ll also find a tri-fold brochure and draft schedule for the next Practicing Resurrection: Experiencing Change workshop. That will be offered on Saturday, August 25 at Augustana Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, ND.
