Kristina’s work included managing the Synod’s website, social media platforms, and written and electronic communications. She is also responsible for planning and working with teams of volunteers in coordinating events such as Synod Assembly, Fall Theological Conference and Spring Gathering. Her youth ministry responsibilities include being a role model and advisor to the youth and adults serving on the Synod LYO Board, planning and overseeing the LYO Middle School and Senior High Youth Gatherings, serving as the ELCA Youth Gathering Coordinator for our Synod, and being involved in the SYMBOL Network. Kristina brings her passion for growing disciples, her powerful organizational skills, her creativity and her curiosity to our shared vision of becoming communities so emboldened by the grace of God through Jesus Christ that we are freed to be wholly devoted to loving Jesus and loving our neighbor.
Kristina grew up in Detroit Lakes, and is a graduate of Trinity Lutheran College (2002) and Luther Seminary (2006). She lives in Glyndon is married to Justin and is step-mother to Alex (high school senior) and Danielle (high school freshman). She is a huge fan of Jesus, live music, camping, coffee, her six Godchildren and Minnesota Vikings football.
