Faith, Conversation, and Safer Communities

Safer Together invites congregations and synods across Minnesota and North Dakota into conversation about gun-related violence and trauma—and our shared calling as Christians to be peacemakers.

Through learning, prayer, and respectful discussion, we will explore how we can care for those affected by violence, listen across differences, and help make our communities safer. These conversations draw on the ELCA’s Social Message on Gun-related Violence and Trauma, research, and the experiences of our neighbors.
